How to Join

Where Can I Join?

Our Session receives new members on the third Sunday of each month. Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to contact our office for more information.

Membership May Be Established In One of Three Ways:

  • Transfer of church letter – The clerk of the Session will write to the church where you are currently a member and request a transfer.
  • Reaffirmation – Reaffirming the commitments made in baptismal vows to renounce evil, accept Christ as Lord and Savior, and promise to be a faithful disciple. This option is for those who have been baptized but not active in the life of a congregation for more than one year.
  • Profession of faith and baptism – A profession of your faith and a scheduled baptism if you have never been baptized.

Newcomers’ Class

This is an opportunity to meet the pastoral and program staff, committee chairs and other members. Many issues and questions are addressed about our ministries; how a member can become involved; the history and beliefs of the Presbyterian church and the history of Covenant Presbyterian Church specifically. Contact our Office Administrator to sign up.
